Well, for me I could start out by say\u00ading \u2018It\u2019s been a quiet 8 months in my life\u2019 but now let me share with you the rest of the story \u2014 a famous line from another great radio voice Paul Harvey.<\/span><\/div>\n
As I reflect back over the last 8 or 9 months I believe I have had only 1 blog post\u00ading, writ\u00adten while on a retreat last spring. My tweets have really been lim\u00adited to post\u00ading scrip\u00adtures have in some way caught my atten\u00adtion. So why the silence? Well I guess I just haven\u2019t had much to say. I have described these last few months as an infor\u00adma\u00adtion or knowl\u00adedge gath\u00ader\u00ading time. I have spent time read\u00ading a vari\u00adety things \u2014 scrip\u00adture, a num\u00adber of books \u2014\u00a0Henry Nouwen and Spir\u00adi\u00adtual Polar\u00adi\u00adties<\/em><\/a>by Wil Her\u00adnan\u00addez,\u00a0Becom\u00ading Whole and Holy<\/em><\/a>\u00a0by Jean\u00adnine Brown, Carla Dahl and Wyndi Corbin Reuschling. I have spent a lot of time think\u00ading about what I want to do when I grow up. I have just been busy gath\u00ader\u00ading lots and lots of stuff. What I have failed to do is slow down and start putting all the pieces together. So I have slowly been push\u00ading the pause but\u00adton on the whole sale gath\u00ader\u00ading of\u00a0more\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
I don\u2019t know about you but my mind goes a lot of dif\u00adfer\u00adent direc\u00adtions when I pon\u00adder things \u2014 I make great use of mind map\u00adping soft\u00adware and big white boards when I am down\u00adload\u00ading my pon\u00adder\u00ading mate\u00adr\u00adial. I put up all the ran\u00addom thoughts that I have and then I play con\u00adnect the dots. I am always excited to see con\u00adnec\u00adtions that come out of a bunch of seem\u00adingly unre\u00adlated blurbs.<\/span><\/div>\n
If you are still read\u00ading this, thanks and you now have a glimpse at how my through process works and why I am the way that I am. So what have I learned and where am I headed. The biggest thing with regards to my blog is that it live in a new place. This past spring I put together and did a very soft launch of a new web site call\u00a0LRT<\/span>\u00a0Min\u00adistry. You can read more about the min\u00adistry by hit\u00adting the home but\u00adton above. In a nut shell\u00a0LRT<\/span>\u00a0is an acronym for Loved, Redeemed and Trans\u00adformed \u2014 Loved by God, Redeemed by Christ and Trans\u00adformed by Spirit. What\u00a0LRT<\/span>\u00a0Min\u00adistry allows me to do is gather in one place the var\u00adi\u00adous things that I do or hope to do in the not to dis\u00adtant future. This could also be the plat\u00adform for part of my doc\u00adtoral the\u00adsis which I will be begin\u00adning in January.<\/span><\/div>\n
My goal for the near future is to have a weekly blog post\u00ading (hope\u00adfully on Mon\u00addays) as I begin to con\u00adnect the dots and share with you my process and what God is teach\u00ading me. It is my hope that together we can be part of each oth\u00aders trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion process and grow in our under\u00adstand\u00ading of God and who God wants each one of us to\u00a0be.<\/span><\/div>\n
