{"id":146,"date":"2008-07-02T11:41:00","date_gmt":"2008-07-02T11:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lrtministry.org\/listening-for-god-sermon-outling\/"},"modified":"2008-07-02T11:41:00","modified_gmt":"2008-07-02T11:41:00","slug":"listening-for-god-sermon-outling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesojournersgarden.org\/blog\/listening-for-god-sermon-outling\/","title":{"rendered":"Listening For God Sermon Outling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is the basic outline for my sermon last Sunday<\/p>\n<p>Why Do we listen for God?<br \/>-comfort<br \/>-direction<br \/>-to know God (Psalm 46:10)<br \/>-to develop our relationship<\/p>\n<p>How do we hear\/How does God speak?<br \/>-to us directly<br \/>-Scripture<br \/>-music<br \/>-books<br \/>-other people<\/p>\n<p>How do we\/should we respond to God&#8217;s voice<br \/>-with a hard heart\/doing things our own way<br \/>-with obedience<br \/>-active waiting\/active listening (see my post a couple of weeks ago)<br \/>-with action<\/p>\n<p>This is the outline.  I was able to fill in my own story to highlight parts.
